We would not be who we are without our eco-friendly design. Being as kind to our planet as possible is at the forefront of all decisions from the fabrics we use for our covers, the suppliers we choose to work with and our marketing & packaging materials, each decision is carefully thought out to align with our values.

Hot or Cold water therapy

The obsession with our wearable hot water bottles started as the perfect answer to always wanting to be warm and cosy but quickly became about comfort, providing relief for everything from headaches to back aches. Designed to be used as a traditional hot water bottle with hot water from the kettle, they can also be filled with cold water and put into the freezer for provide ice relief for inflated, tired muscles (or to just keep cool in a hot water).

Wanting to encourage you to be kind to yourself, make time for yourself and listen to your needs is at the heart of everything that we do. It is the simplest of actions that make the biggest difference to our wellbeing; drinking the water - drinking the cup of tea while it's hot - switching your phone off - getting to bed on time - wrapping yourself up in a hot water bottle to drop your shoulders and ease the day away.

Joiful Designs is all about doing good. We want to do good things for you and good things for the planet. We want to help you to get on board with the fact that you're absolutely wonderful, just as you are. We want to help you look after yourself and the people you love and we want to make sure we do all of this without adding to the problems we currently face as a human race trying to look after our beautiful planet; and if we're really honest we'd like to actually help improve the situation!

We like to keep things simple and believe in the basics like being kind, honest, trying our best and taking life slow. We get really excited about designing and our hands are most happy when they're making. Like most people we're figuring it all out as we go along.

We work from the kitchen table in Warwickshire making in small-batches. Our products are thoughtfully crafted. Our fabrics are 100% natural and biodegradable and all of our long hot water bottle covers are 100% organic cotton. Fabric is printed in small runs to reduce waste and using a water based pigment system which uses less energy in the production process. All of our packaging is recyclable (and mostly from recycled materials).

We are pleased to have partnered with Tree Sisters so that for every item purchased from Joiful Designs a tree is planted.
